Callaway Dual Action 1/4 Zip Pullover
As we hit the start of the cold weather golf season, finding playable warmer clothing options is a must. The Callaway Dual Action 1/4 zip pullover is a great Fall/early-Winter option to protect you from some elements while still allowing you to move freely on the course. Callaway Apparel’s Dual Action pullover has that modern trendy marl look that you’re seeing pop up in performance wear these days. The color palate is diverse ranging from black to blue coral. I wouldn’t exactly call the Dual Action pullover form fitting, but it’s not loose and baggy either. It falls right in the middle so as to be flattering for a wide range of body types (thanks, Callaway!). I think the Dual Action has a great look for the player looking to stay warm, keep a modern athletic style, but doesn’t necessarily want to scream “look at me” as they’re whacking balls at the driving range.
Comfort Level
The Callaway Dual Action pullover is plenty comfortable. As mentioned, the fit is more on the regular side so you don’t feel squeezed and there’s plenty range of motion. Let’s keep in mind, the Dual Action pullover is part of Callaway Apparel’s Weather Series and the whole point is to keep you warm in cooler weather. To keep you comfortable on those brisk Fall days, Callaway Apparel used an insulated thermal material to contain your body heat. If you live in a region at all like ours, your Fall days often come with light condensation as well. The fabric Callaway Apparel used is also water repellent to help keep you warm AND dry. In a light drizzle you’ll still be comfortable. Just remember, the Dual Action isn’t a substitute for rain gear in a downpour. Dress smart.
On-Course Performance
Apparel performing well on the course comes down to basically being comfortable, serving its design purposes, and not getting in the way of you golfing. As such, the Callaway Dual Action pullover does all of these things well. The pullover is very comfortable, keeps you warm in the appropriate temperatures, and doesn’t inhibit your swing. In my mind, that’s about all you can ask for.
I mentioned in the intro that you should still be concerned about UV rays in the colder months. Fortunately, Callaway Apparel agrees. Callaway utilized UV Block UPF 50 to keep harmful UV rays from getting to your skin while you’re grinding through your cold-weather round. If you’re looking for a solid quarter zip that actually keeps you warm in the late Fall/Winter, the Callaway Dual Action is a great option. It’s comfortable, looks good, and just takes good care of you on a brisk Autumn afternoon – like a comforting friend!
