StaminaPro Active Recovery Patch Review

StaminaPro Active Recovery Patch

You may have seen golfers such as Tony Finau and Justin Rose with some peculiar patches on their bodies when watching golf on TV recently.  What exactly are they?  The StaminaPro Active Recovery Patch.  But what are they, and how do they work?  Well let me tell you…

What Are They?

The StaminaPro Active Recovery Patches are adhesive patches designed to aid with recovery.  Place the patch on an area of muscle tightness, soreness, or injury, and let them go to work.  The idea behind these patches is that you can recover from some of the nagging issues above, while continuing to train or perform in either practice or competition.  That means no taking time away from the course for that sore hammy.  Instead, let the patch help loosen you up and provide relief.  Hence, active recovery.

How Do They Work?

Unlike other recovery products, the StaminaPro Active Recovery patches don’t contain any medications or drugs.  They’re all naturalEach patch is “charged” with energy from “over 200 of nature’s most impactful natural remedies for inflammation.”  This includes things like omega3s, green tea extracts, and amino acids.  The electron energy is captured from these resources, then imprinted into the patch, and presto!  Your recovery patch is born.  For those who want the more technical aspects of how this works, StaminaPro has all of the details on their website.

In terms of use, the patches feature a very strong adhesive, and are designed to last for 24 hours.  Place one of the three different sized patches (medium, large, and full strip) on the location of the injury, and let the patch go to work.  The patch works naturally, and you’ll begin to feel the effects in minutes.

But Do They Work?

I get it, I get it, is this another hocus pocus product that talks a big game, but doesn’t back it up?  In my personal experience, the StaminaPro Active Recovery Patch really works.  I have a nagging tightness in my traps and neck (I lift heavy, bro), and it gets worse with golf.  I placed one large patch on each side of my neck before a round and I felt relief in minutes.  My neck and shoulders quickly felt looser and relaxed, and I was in about 75% less pain.  Now, I’m not going to say these patches are a miracle worker that will cure your injury, but I definitely found them to loosen my muscles and significantly reduce a moderate pain/tightness.

Now, the patches tout a 24-hour lifespan once you slap one on.  The patch itself will definitely stay on for 24 hours.  I even showered twice with them, and they didn’t budge.  A pool or a sweaty round won’t be an issue.  This is great for the golf/athletic usage of the patch, but when trying to remove them, it can be a bit of a struggle.  They’re stuck on so well, it’s hard to get them off.  I suggest removing them in a warm shower, or using some of the provided removal wipes to help you.

A few things of note: make sure you don’t cut the strips.  Use full strips only, and if they cover more than the painful area, just let them be.  Also, if your pain area is too large, or a single patch isn’t working, you can double up!  Multiple patches can be used no problem.  In fact, StaminaPro recommends starting with two patches, then adding more if needed.

Final Thoughts – StaminaPro Active Recovery Patch

Typically, I’m not one to fall for the empty promises that many pain management products these days provide.  The StaminaPro Active Recovery Patch definitely isn’t one of those.  They provide great relief for moderate pain, and you don’t have to worry about them coming off during your round.  There’s a reason guys on Tour like Tony Finau use this patch after gruesome dislocations of their ankles.  So have a nagging pain or injury that you’re downing four ibuprofen for before every round?  Give the StaminaPro Patches a whirl.  You might be pleasantly surprised.

  3. I think it’s misleading did they quote a price for the patches but you don’t get the patches for that price unless you subscribe
