So this band isn’t new, the song isn’t new, and I’ve heard it a million times before.  But for some reason, I recently heard this song on the radio and realized how much of a banger it really is.  I’m talking about the Brothers Osborne hit, Stay a Little Longer.  First a little background on the duo.  Yes, they are in fact brothers – TJ on lead vox (that’s “vocals” in industry lingo, you guys) and rhythm guitar, and John Osborne on lead gui-tars and backing vocals.

Originally from Maryland, these guys went the usual country path of getting their feet under them and then moving to Nashville to make it big.  Of course, they soon signed a publishing deal, released a couple of albums, and had some hits.  One of those being 2015’s Stay a Little Longer which made it all the way up to #4 on the US Country charts (please read that in a cheesy Top-40 radio DJ voice).  The live version typically includes an extended guitar solo that slays and gets talked up by brother, TJ for effect.  It’s catchy, well crafted, and I’m here for it.
