RENENS, SWITZERLAND — Trusting a TPT Golf shaft in his driver throughout the season, Paul Barjon won the 2019 MacKenzie Tour (PGA TOUR Canada) Order of Merit and Player of the Year Award, earning fully-exempt status on the 2020 Korn Ferry Tour.
“Congratulations to Paul Barjon on one of the greatest seasons in the history of the Canadian Tour,” said TPT Golf Director Sebastian Sebayang. “His consistency was incredible; not only did he win twice, but he went the entire season without missing a cut. We’re looking forward to continuing to support his very special talent going forward.”
During Barjon’s spectacular season, he shot under par in 44 of his 48 rounds on the MacKenzie Tour using a TPT Golf 14 Series Prototype driver shaft. His shaft is slightly stiffer and heavier than TPT Golf’s 15 Series shafts, which are one of the 10 TPT Golf driver shafts currently available to golfers around the world.
All TPT Golf shafts are made with the company’s patented “Thin-Ply Winding Method,” an automated manufacturing process that uses advanced machinery and robotics to eliminate human error from the shaft-making process and deliver more optimized and consistent performance.
The Thin-Ply Winding Method was developed from the ground up with the knowledge of TPT Golf’s parent company, NTPT, a Switzerland-based technology and composites firm that’s renowned for its cutting-edge materials.
Because of the unique performance characteristics of TPT Golf shafts, professional fittings are required for golfers to determine the best golf shaft for their game. For this reason, TPT Golf shafts ($499 USD each) are sold exclusively through a network of more 200 Authorized Fitters.
