GolfBalls.com
Golfballs.com’s story is an interesting one. According to their website, Golfballs.com started in 1995 selling used golf balls on the internet out of Louisiana. Just for reference, I remember the internet in 1995 and e-commerce was virtually non-existent. In-home internet was becoming more “common place” and security concerns were rampant among consumers so NO ONE wanted to use a credit card to buy something “on the line.” Nevertheless, GolfBalls.com stood as pioneers of the internet golf business and forged ahead. Fast forward over 20 years and they’re now one of the leaders in golf ball sales and golf ball customization over the internet. Whether you’re looking for your logo affordably printed on a ball or Golfballs.com’s new AlignXL alignment aid – available on any golf ball they sell – they can do it.
Custom Golf Balls
The primary goal for Golfballs.com is to provide customers with fast and affordable personalized golf gear. While Golfballs.com offers a range of products like custom hats, bags, towels, etc, custom golf balls are their bread and butter. By doing all their printing in house, Golfballs.com is able to turnaround any order quickly and at a good price. Our custom DRH balls were shipped in two days! (Note: GBs.com quotes four days.) In addition to having a logo or image printed, you can also get personal messages, monograms, novelty images, or different alignment aids such as the new AlignXL line. Frankly, the world is your oyster! If you have an idea and you’re not sure it will work, Golfballs.com will easily help you out.
Additionally, if you aren’t looking for anything custom and just want regular ole golf balls, Golfballs.com has you covered there too. They offer all the major brands and models at good prices.
Golfballs.com’s Personalized AlignXL
In this day and age, almost everyone is using some sort of alignment aid on their golf ball. Most golf ball manufacturers print some sort of branding to use when you line up your putt, but it just isn’t that clean or vivid. Then you have to think of all the contraptions you’ve seen to help draw a straight line (or lines) on your ball with a marker. As much as us golf nerds love to own more golf contraptions, it’s another small gadget to keep track of and another step in the process when you’re rushing at the first tee. Wouldn’t it be much easier to just have a strong, solid straight line pre-printed on your golf ball? I’m sure you can see where this is headed…
Now you can get that line pre-printed on your favorite golf ball! Through GolfBalls.com’s new AlignXL program, you can get a custom black line printed on half of your ball. If you want to personalize it a little bit, you can even have wording printed within it. In our case, I kept it simple with “DRH.” Should you just want a straight black line, that’s still an option too. The line is a little thicker than your typical Sharpie tip in a stencil and is plenty durable. So far I’ve preferred the AlignXL much more out on the course as it’s easier to line up and a much stronger visual. Conveniently, the line is about the same width as the sight line on my putter.
AlignXL Pricing
Normally, the upcharge for adding AlignXL to your golf ball is $5. Even at that price, that’s a solid deal in my book. However, Golfballs.com is currently running a promotion for free personalized AlignXL when you use the code “PRINTED” at checkout. Save yourself the hassle of a garbage stencil and Sharpie for your alignment lines on your ball and give this a try on your next dozen.
Final Thoughts
Golfballs.com offers the consumer a great option to address all their custom golf ball needs. Whether you want to put a funny picture on a ball for your buddies, or you just want a printed alignment aid, they have you covered. I’m a big fan of the new AlignXL program. It’s clean, it’s durable, it’s simple, and it’s convenient. Being able to order my golf balls with this alignment line already added to them is a nice bonus. Plus, it’s a great excuse to add some custom branding to my ball for when I inevitably donate it to the course and it becomes someone else’s property! Regardless, Golfballs.com is a great one-stop shop for your golf ball needs with a wide range of customization options.
