Traditionally, Chippo is set up with two players per team with the boards separated 15-feet away, facing each other. Players earn one point for hitting the board on the fly, three points for draining a shot in the center hole and five points for sending the ball into a top corner hole. Double points can also be earned if the chip bounces off the chipping mat prior.
Each Chippo board is constructed of reinforced plastic, covered in artificial turf. It includes netting attached to all three holes to catch shots. Steel legs fold for easy storage and transport, and a compartment built into the underside of the board stores chipping mats.
