(RANCH CUCAMONGA, CA) – Nexbelt, “The Belt With No Holes,” captured another victory on the PGA Tour this past weekend with a win at the QBE Shootout held at the Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida.
The QBE Shootout is a one-of-a-kind competition featuring 24 of the world’s top professional golfers playing on two-person teams in a mixed-format. The three-round event changes format each round, with a scramble in Round 1 on Friday, a modified alternate shot on Saturday and a best-ball format on Sunday. The event began in 1989 and is hosted by legendary golfer Greg Norman.
The winner of the event sported a classic white leather belt and a “Jake” buckle from Nexbelt as he and his playing partner birdied the final two holes in best-ball play on Sunday for a 12-under 60 and a two-stroke victory.
