(PINELLAS PARK, FL) – SIK Golf, (S)TUDY (I)N (K)INEMATICS, announced today that 11-time NFL Pro Bowler, Larry Fitzgerald, used a custom-fit SIK C Series putter to capture his second Pebble Beach Pro-Am victory in three years this past weekend.
Fitzgerald and PGA Tour Pro, Kevin Streelman, shot 33-under par for the tournament, besting Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young and Phil Mickelson by five strokes. Fitzgerald, paired with Streelman, won the event in 2018 as well.
Only six other professional athletes have won the title. Before Fitzgerald, Dan Marino was the last to do it, winning the event in 1988 and only seven other amateurs have won the event more than once.
This victory continues to add to the many things Fitzgerald does well. He is one of the greatest wide receivers to ever play the game and might be the most respected player in the NFL. He’s has been named Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year and just won the “Anything but Ordinary” Player of the Year Award.
“We’d like to congratulate Larry on his win,” said, SIK Golf’s COO, Marc Cerio. “He’s an amazingly talented athlete and we’re excited to have one of our custom-fit putters in his hands and to have helped him capture this record setting second victory at Pebble Beach.”
