(PINELLAS PARK, FL) – SIK Golf, (S)TUDY (I)N (K)INEMATICS, announced today that PGA Tour Staff Professional, Bryson DeChambeau, captured a solo 2nd Place Finish this past weekend at the WGC Mexico Championship held at The Club de Golf Chapultepec in Mexico City, Mexico.
DeChambeau fired rounds of 65, 71, 63 and 68 to finish at 17 under par, just one stroke off the lead, for a solo Runner-Up Finish. This is Bryson’s second Top 5 in as many weeks as he’s coming off a T-5th Place Finish at The Genesis Invitational.
He ranked T-1st in Birdies with 25, 2nd in Total Strokes Gained (15.014), and 3rd in Strokes Gained: Putting.
This 2nd Place Finish earned him a paycheck for $1.1 Million Dollars and 315 FedEx Cup Points. He’s currently ranked 24th on the FedEx Cup Points List and 14th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Bryson DeChambeau, commonly referred to as “The Professor” and “The Mad Scientist”, is probably best known for his unorthodox set of irons that are all the same length, but what most people don’t know is that he’s captured all five of his PGA TOUR victories, and in excess of $15.5 Million Dollars in earnings, using a SIK putter!
“Bryson really has his SIK putter dialed in right now,” said, SIK Golf’s COO, Marc Cerio. “This week his stats showed that he made 265 feet of putts for an 8.33 shot advantage in Strokes Gained: Putting…that’s impressive!”
