If you aren’t familiar with L.A.B. Golf’s Directed Force 2.1 putter, you can check out our review here. The DF 2.1 is by far one of the weirdest and wildest looking putters, but I was impressed with it then and I still have that putter kicking around. This putter had previously only been available in black, blue, and red finishes, but L.A.B. has introduced a new Nickel option.
The Nickel finish is technically “Electroless Nickel Plating.” It’s applied in a nickel bath through a chemical reaction that deposits a uniform layer of nickel onto the putter surface. This makes the finish nearly impossible to scratch, and it won’t be affected by moisture or even saltwater. It’s a $30 upcharge from the DF 2.1 base price of $425.
