New Tempercraft Products PERFECT for Supporting Local Businesses During Quarantine

New Tempercraft Products!

Tempercraft is one of the biggest mainstays of Driving Range Heroes going all the way back to the very beginning. I’ve recommended them in every single gift guide, I’ve written reviews for them, and I’ve regularly commented on how my house swears by Tempercraft on an everyday basis. Obviously 2020 has been an interesting year and the quarantines from the Coronavirus pandemic have been intense. During the quarantine, we have tried our best to support local businesses in the area to help keep our favorite stores going. One of those local favorites is The Beer Cellar of Glen Ellyn, and the latest Tempercraft products have been perfect in helping me support them.

2020 Tempercraft Products - Growler 15

32oz Growler

This is the big daddy of the group! At 32oz, or two standard pints, the growler holds a lot of liquid. With the Isothermic Vacuum-Insulated Construction, this growler will keep whatever you put in it at temperature for up to 24 hours. Now, I’m not an expert with growler legalities in terms of open container. If you live somewhere where your local establishments are no longer able to serve on location but are doing growler fills, the Tempercraft growler is excellent for the job. If you aren’t looking to fill it with adult libations, it’s also great for a large supply of your preferred beverage.

2020 Tempercraft Products - Can Cooler 5

Can Cooler

The Tempercraft can cooler is a new one for me and it’s pretty cool. Like the rest of the products, it utilizes Isothermic Vacuum-Insulated Construction to maintain the temperature of your beverage. When it comes to cans, I imagine you’re just looking to keep the can cold. One the key features for this can cooler is that Tempercraft includes two freezable can adapters. Just pop them into your freezer and then into the bottom of the cooler before you put your can in. This cooler can handle any 12oz can, tall boy, or aluminum bottles. So if your local bottle shop has refrigerated cans, pick some up and use your can cooler to enjoy them when you get home!

2020 Tempercraft Products - Rocks Tumbler 9

10oz Rocks Tumbler

The new 10oz rocks tumbler from Tempercraft quickly established itself as a favorite. The 18/8 food-grade stainless steel and powder-coat finish make it much more durable than your usual rocks glass. Admittedly, a couple of ice cubes clanking around in stainless steel doesn’t give you the same James Bond feeling as glass, but the retention of temperature and comfort in your hand makes up for it. Shameless plug: when I see the Beer Cellar has a nice new bottle of bourbon that I need want, I head over to pick it up, bring it home, and pour it into this tumbler basically every time. Additionally, it’s great for cocktails (shout out Common Good) and the clear plastic lid makes it great for enjoying outside in the yard!

2020 Tempercraft Products - Flask 14

8oz Flask

Who doesn’t love a good flask? They’re great for sneaking into your coat pocket at a wedding, or maybe slipping a nip of whiskey into your pack for a night of camping. (Ok, I’m not a camper, but if you are…) If you’re a golfer, you might fill it with your favorite bourbon and slip it in the bag for the day. Whatever your choice, the Tempercraft flask is extremely durable and great for holding up to some rugged adventures. Like the rest of the lineup, Tempercraft uses 18/8 food-grade stainless steel and a powder-coat finish. The biggest difference is that it doesn’t have the Isothermic Vacuum-Insulated Construction. Instead, the flask has a “heavy-duty single-wall construction”. Personally, I’m not too concerned about my flask maintaining a temperature. It’s just not what it’s used for.

Oh, and not to worry, the flask comes with a small rubber funnel to help fill it.

Final Thoughts 17

Final Thoughts

First and foremost, thank you to my friends at the Beer Cellar for helping me out with this post. They’re a great establishment that has become a big part of the fabric of the community over the last five years, and it’s businesses like these that we need to keep supporting right now. Of course, with my top-notch new Tempercraft products, I’ll be more than happy to do so! That said, I’ve found practical uses for all of these new products outside of adult beverages. They’re durable, reliable, and just generally fantastic. Not only will I continue the regular use of Tempercraft in my house, but I will also likely be purchasing some of these as gifts for people on my list this year!
