KBS 2021 PGA Championship

KBS Claims the PGA Championship

It was a win for the ages. A moment none of us will soon forget, as we watched one of the greatest PGA Tour players of all time do something that has never been done before, winning a men’s major championship at the age of 50. With shock and awe, the appreciation for the feat at hand was nothing short of spectacular. The longtime KBS player whose stats coming into Kiawah were not where he wanted them to be, found his game at an opportune time. Leading the field in strokes gained: tee to green for the first time in seven years, he was able to find control when the course required it. Limiting the errant tee shots, hitting precise irons and of course working his magic around the greens, the player put together the best week of golf he’s had in quite some time. With a winning score of 6-under-par, two clear of the field, he proved age is just a number and if you put in the work good things will come. He used a full bag of the KBS Tour-V 125 in his irons and wedges to secure his second PGA Championship and sixth major overall. KBS congratulates our friend on his tremendous accomplishment and we can’t to watch him go for the career Grand-Slam in a month’s time at the hometown U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.

KBS TOUR-V: Tight Dispersion, Lightweight Design: Designed for and still played by one of the greatest PGA Tour players of all time, the Tour-V is a lighter-weight KBS Tour shaft with larger outer diameters, resulting in a more stable tip section for tighter shot dispersion and less spin.
