It was a story of perseverance at the Wichita Open, where the 2022 champion earned his way into the tournament in a Monday qualifier, a situation he knows all too well. After finding quick success in college at the University of Oregon, the road since has not been easy for the 23-year-old who lost his Korn Ferry Tour card in 2019 after only a season. He’s struggled ever since, but that was not the case this week. This week he was a man on a mission, scorching Crestview Country Club and recording a 26-under 254 total and earning a five stroke victory. He was the first player to win after Monday qualifying on the Korn Ferry Tour since 2016. He did this using a full bag of KBS, including the TOUR-V 125 in his irons, and a mix of the HI-REV 2.0/610 options in his wedges. We are thrilled for the longtime KBS player and congratulate him on his first professional win.
