Carlsbad, California. (July 24, 2023) Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the #1 driver and wood shaft at the final Major of the season.
At Royal Liverpool Golf Club, Fujikura was the #1 driver and wood shaft at the Open, the fourth and final Major of the year. In total, 38.2% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft during the week, with another 35.6% using a Fujikura wood shaft. These figures also included the Claret Jug winner, who used the Fujikura Speeder Evolution II S in his 3-wood shaft on his way to victory.
Over on the PGA Tour, Fujikura also claimed the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft for the week.
At the Barracuda Championship, 35.9% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 34.1% in the wood shaft count and 29.2% in the hybrid shaft count.
With this maiden PGA Tour victory, the winner in Nevada used the VENTUS Black 7-X in his driver shaft, along with the VENTUS Black 8-TX in his 3-wood shaft and VENTUS Black 10-X in his hybrid shaft.
Fujikura completed the week with #1 spots on both the Korn Ferry Tour and LPGA Tour. At the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational on the LPGA Tour, Fujikura was the #1 driver shaft at the tournament, with over 31.7% of the field using a Fujikura driver shaft.
At the Price Cutter Charity Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour, Fujikura was the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft. In total, 32.1% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 30.3% in the wood shaft count and 37.8% in the hybrid shaft count.
