Carlsbad, California. (November 14, 2023) Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be #1 driver shaft across the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours last week. This included multiple wins for the players on the Champions Tour and LPGA Tour.
At the final event of the Champions Tour season, Fujikura was the #1 driver of choice at the Charles Schwab Cup. In total, 19 players in the field used a Fujikura driver shaft during the week, over 50% of the entire field.
The winner at Phoenix Country Club used the VENTUS Blue 6-X in his driver and VENTUS Blue 8-X in his fairway wood, claiming his title with a one-shot victory in Arizona. The season-long champion also benefitted from Fujikura this year, using the Motore Speeder 7.2 TS in his driver for most of the season. The Charles Schwab Cup Title winner won three Majors and grabbed six total victories with Fujikura in the bag.
Over on the LPGA Tour, it was further success for Fujikura with another #1 spot for Fujikura driver shafts. In total, 36.7% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft.
At the Annika Driven by Gainbridge at the Pelican Golf Club, the winner in Florida claimed her title using all Fujikura shafts in her woods. Using the VENTUS TR Blue 5-S in her driver, VENTUS TR Blue 6-S in her fairway wood and VENTUS TR Blue 7-S in her five-wood.
Finally, on the PGA Tour, it was continued driver and wood shaft dominance for Fujikura. At the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, Fujikura was the #1 driver and wood shaft in the field. In total, over 34.1% of the players used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 29.6% of players using a Fujikura wood shaft.
