After a steady final round performance, KBS was back in the winner’s circle at the Charles Schwab Challenge. The winner had KBS C-Taper 125 S+ shafts in his Titleist irons. The Tour rookie opened the tournament with a score of 68 and improved with a round of 66 on Friday. Saturday, he shot another 68 to give himself a comfortable lead going into the final round. The KBS golfers’ toughest competition would be the #1 golfer in the world, who was only a few strokes back after shooting a 63 on Saturday. Sunday, the windy weather conditions tested the players at Colonial Country Club. His competition struggled which gave him a solid lead the whole entire round. He made 2 bogeys and 2 birdies on the front to remain even going into the back nine. He repeated his front nine play by making another 2 bogeys and 2 birdies on the back, which was enough to claim the victory! The 27-year-old veteran claimed his Second victory of his career in only 90 Tour starts.
