The Red Label found itself in the Winner’s bag at the Club Car Championship after an exciting final round! The player had KBS C-Taper 120X shafts in his Callaway irons. The 28-year-old came into the event seeking his first victory that will hopefully give him a chance of receiving his PGA Tour card by the end of the 2025 season. The first 3 rounds he shot scores of 67, 70, and 65 to tie the lead heading in to the final round. Sunday, he played a steady front nine to remain tied for the lead. He would need to start making birdies on the back nine to overtake his opponent. Luckily for the KBS player his opponent started to crumble on the back. The 28-year-old rose to occasion by making 3 birdies on the final 5 holes to force a playoff. The playoff was over quick on the first hole, because the KBS player made a clutch birdie to claim the first victory. He said, “I’m finally making a living out of (playing golf), so that’s a first. I’m just excited to keep the season going and play some more golf. Right now, my game is great, so you just have to enjoy it when that happens”.
