Tour Edge Exotics LS Driver Review

Tour Edge Exotics LS Driver

The Tour Edge Exotics LS driver is the low-spin option in the brand’s latest Exotics metalwood series, designed to give players precise control over launch and spin. It features a compact 440cc head with a carbon fiber–packed body, Pyramid Face Technology, and Ridgeback frame, resulting in a stable, high-speed clubhead with consistent performance across the face. Despite its low-launch, low-spin design, the LS is surprisingly forgiving, with adjustable tungsten weighting that allows golfers to shift the center of gravity to fine-tune trajectory and balance. The result is a driver that delivers a penetrating, controlled ball flight without overly penalizing off-center hits, making it versatile for higher-speed players who value both control and forgiveness.

The Looks

At address, the Tour Edge Exotics LS presents a distinctly tour-inspired aesthetic. The compact, pear-shaped 440cc head immediately conveys a sense of workability and control that better players appreciate. The all-black design, highlighted by the generous use of carbon fiber on the crown, creates a stealthy, premium look with minimal distraction.

The standout visual feature is the 360° titanium Ridgeback frame visible. This wraparound titanium chassis stiffens the entire head, and while it’s a key performance element, it integrates seamlessly into the club’s appearance. The clean lines and overall profile make the LS one of the best looking drivers at address that we’ve seen for quite some time.

Feel 13

How Does it Feel?

Both well-struck shots and mishits result in a solid and firm feel at impact. This sensation is largely attributed to the Tour Edge Exotics LS driver’s structural rigidity provided by the 360° titanium Ridgeback frame, which reinforces the entire head, and the lively Pyramid Face Technology. Pyramid Face is similar to the previous Diamond Face tech, but the diamond shapes behind the face are more raised into small pyramid shapes. This combination of a stiff chassis and advanced face structure translates into a powerful feeling confirming maximum energy transfer back into the ball.

I personally find that weight location makes a huge difference in the LS driver’s feel as well. With the heavier tungsten weight in the forward position, you can really feel the speed of the club. However, I tend to struggle with this CG location, even though I’m a high swing-speed player that certainly benefits from some spin reduction. As Tour Edge says, despite the Exotics LS’s compact shape and low spin design, it has one of the highest MOI ratings you’ll find in a player’s driver with the heavy weight in the rear position. I found with this weight position, the LS felt incredibly stable and far easier to control than you’d expect in this category.

How Does it Sound?

The sound of the Tour Edge Exotics LS matches its feel. Tight, powerful, and distinct. It’s not overly muted or metallic, but there’s a sharp crack that makes solid contact sound satisfying. The sound does change slightly on mishits, which adds to the feedback. Those off-center strikes lose a bit of their punch and carry a slightly different tone, but it’s more informative than distracting. Between the firm head construction and carbon components, it has a unique voice that stands out.

The Tour Edge Exotics LS driver lives up to its billing as the low-spin option in the lineup. I started testing with the heavier weight in the forward position, and my stock shot was a piercing laser that would hit the ground and run forever. My ball speeds were high and I was really pumping the ball, but I definitely needed more lift and some help tightening up my dispersion. This is where the Exotics LS really impressed me…

Historically, I’ve found that low-spin, low-launch drivers tend to lose their “personality” when the heavier weight is moved to the rear. Sure, there are exceptions, but it’s a common trade-off. With the Exotics LS, however, shifting the heavier weight back lifted my flight just enough to gain the carry I needed while maintaining that penetrating trajectory and adding a touch of spin to keep the ball from falling out of the sky. It still played true to its low-spin DNA, but the higher MOI from the rear weighting made a huge difference in tightening my dispersion. I was getting the stability of a “forgiving” driver without giving up the control and precision that make an LS driver appealing for higher swing speeds.

The Pyramid Face design also deserves credit for keeping speed and distance consistent across the face. Even on slight mishits, the ball speed held strong, and the overall loss in distance was minimal. It’s an especially useful feature in a head built for lower spin, where off-center strikes will often suffer a harsher punishment.

Final Thoughts – Tour Edge Exotics LS Driver

The Tour Edge Exotics LS driver manages to blend low-spin control with surprising forgiveness, something few drivers can pull off in this category. It delivers the penetrating ball flight and spin reduction that stronger players expect, but with a level of stability and consistency rarely found in a low-spin, low-launch head. The combination of the Ridgeback frame and Pyramid Face technology creates a fast, solid, and reliable performer that holds its own against anything on the market. Visually, the compact 440cc head and carbon crown give the driver a clean, modern look that matches its performance. For golfers seeking a low-spin driver that balances control, forgiveness, and aesthetic appeal, the Exotics LS is an outstanding option.
