Fujikura celebrated another significant weekend of success across the men’s game, with VENTUS powering three victories across Europe and America, including in Memphis as the season’s best players began the Tour’s final trio of events.

With only the top 70 players on the season-long standings eligible to compete, the field represented the very best of the year so far – making this one of the most significant achievements of the season as the Tour heads towards its conclusion.

The winner – now a 21-time victor on Tour – produced a dominant performance to claim victory, trusting VENTUS Black 7-X in his driver and VENTUS Black 8-X in his 3-wood. Victory rarely looked in doubt for the 30-year-old after a course-record-equalling nine-under-par 61 on Friday helped establish a three-shot lead heading into the weekend.

The victory – Fujikura’s 16th Tour win of the season – further underlines the performance credentials of VENTUS, with Fujikura proving its ability to perform when the pressure is at its highest and accuracy at a premium.

Across the elite field, Fujikura delivered another dominant showing as the number one driver and wood shaft in the field: 47.8% of players trusted Fujikura in their drivers – 21.7% ahead of the nearest competitor and a 5.5% increase from last year’s championship – while 40% used Fujikura shafts in their woods, 10.5% ahead of the closest competitor.

The demanding layout in Memphis provided a fitting test for the elite field, with the course consistently ranked among the toughest tests on Tour.Narrow fairways place a premium on accuracy from the tee, while more than 100 hazards – including over 90 bunkers – are positioned throughout the course. Water is also in play on 11 holes, making precision and consistency with the driver essential to success.

VENTUS powers success at leading amateur championship

There was further success at the leading golf championship for amateurs, with both players who reached the final putting their faith in Fujikura and VENTUS. The eventual winner – the first Englishman to win the title since 2013 – used VENTUS TR Black 6-X in his driver, VENTUS TR Red 7-X in his 3-wood and VENTUS TR Blue 9-X with enhanced VeloCore+ technology in his driving iron.

Fujikura was also the number one driver, wood and hybrid shaft across the field, underlining its continued support of the game’s next generation of leading players and future stars. Fujikura was trusted by 51.3% of the field in drivers – 34.3% clear of the nearest competitor – while 49.2% used Fujikura in their woods and 33.8% in hybrids.

The weekend also delivered success in Europe, where a memorable home victory in Denmark saw the winner claim his second Tour title using a VENTUS TR Blue 6-X with enhanced VeloCore+ technology in his driver and a VENTUS Blue 9-X in his utility wood.
