Continuing to strengthen the brand’s commitment to helping golfers look and play their best with premium clothing that elevates feel and on-course performance, PING Apparel unveiled its SS19 collection. The new line is designed and engineered using cutting-edge fabrics, with select polos and mid-layers featuring a new, more luxurious cotton blend — Sensorcool Cotton. The men’s apparel is available in select golf shops now.

The collection stays true to PING’s design language of Considered, Clean, Timeless, Tailored and Authentically Cool and combines this with its Sensor Technology platform of SensorWarm, SensorCool, and SensorDry. Still integral are PING’s technology partners Tekfit® (waistband stretch), Coolmax® (thermoregulation), Primaloft® (warmth, breathability), Pertex® (wind and water protection) and Zegna Baruffa® fine Italian Merino wool.
“We love the phrase ‘Engineered to Play’ as every piece of clothing needs to be performance driven to help the player,” Solheim said. “Fashion, color and detail are very important but the design and performance of our apparel must mirror the same ethos we bring to the design of our golf clubs.”
Sensorcool Cotton
The Karsten III and Raymond polos, the Practice Tee, and Herman mid-layer all feature Sensorcool Cotton, which is blended with technologically advanced Coolmax fabric to deliver exceptional softness and comfort. Coolmax fibers transport moisture away from the body. Stretch properties and detailing deliver soft-touch, cotton performance.
Key Mid Layers
The Vermillion and Fracture are year-round performers. A half-zip, soft-touch windproof and water-resistant stretch top, the Vermillion is a versatile go-to. And for cooler spring
and summer golf, the ultra-lightweight Fracture offers an appealing yarn-dyed gradient effect, plus moisture-moving and stretch qualities.
Players Pant
A new five-pocket performance trouser, the Players Pant is designed with a slimmer-fit leg and engineered with four-way stretch throughout for complete freedom of movement for optimum comfort and playability.
The SS19 collection is inspired by the rich colors and brilliant, towering red-rock mountainous landscapes of the town of Sedona in PING’s long-time home state of Arizona. Its natural gradients of red and orange, gold sunsets and blue skies informed these three color stories for SS19:
Sedona Sunrise — Deep Water
Focused on key colors deep water and highlight shade sunshine yellow. Can be combined with a pop of yellow to create impactful outfit combinations when mixed with lighter greys, minerals and navy. This fresh seasonal pallet works across both winter and sun belt territories.
Sedona Sunrise — Sky Azure
Key colors are sky azure and fresh water. Sky azure emerges as a key color trend, updating imperial blue with a lighter, more vibrant shade. Fresh water creates a cool tonal color within stripes and marls. A sky azure gradient jacquard in mid-layers and polos creates active statement pieces that complement mainstays such as navy, asphalt and ash.
Sedona Sunrise — Iron Red
The Iron Red story is focused on iron red and deep-sea coral. Gradient jacquards in iron red are inspired by Sedona’s natural rock formations. These rich shades work beautifully together in heather and feeder-striped shirts. Classic in style with broad consumer appeal, they provide an impact when paired with black, asphalt and pearl grey.
