SteelFiber graphite iron shafts, designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, landed first- and second-place at the Cologuard Classic on the Champions Tour as well as second- and third-place at the HSBC Women’s World Championship on the LPGA Tour.
Playing SteelFiber i110 shafts in his irons, the champion — who touts 34 pro wins, including the 1988 Masters Tournament and The Open Championship — finished strong with a 7-under 66 for a four-shot victory at the Cologuard Classic. The runner-up played SteelFiber i95 shafts for a share of second. Meanwhile at the HSBC Women’s World Championship on the LPGA Tour, the young Australian pro who was the Number One ranked amateur golfer in 2014 claimed solo second-place with SteelFiber i80 shafts and the 23-year-old player from South Korea scored a T3 finish with SteelFiber J-Series shafts in her irons. SteelFiber shafts also delivered a T8 and 10th-place at the LPGA event for a total of four Top 10s.
