Nexbelt Belt
Belts have been a centerpiece for golf outfits for as long as I can remember, and Nexbelt belts change the way you hold up your golf britches. When it comes to belt design, there’s a lot you can do with such a simple accessory, and Nexbelt gives you these options. With Nexbelt, they give you plenty of them. They offer everything from plain leather, to braided, to pebble, or carbon textures in any color you may need for your wardrobe. Fit/Comfort Level
As far as comfort goes, you can’t really beat Nexbelt. Their custom “belt with no holes” ratchet technology allows for the ultimate custom fit. First, you can cut the length to fit any size waist from 25 inches to 45 inches. Then comes the ratchet-fit. The click technology allows you to adjust the fit of the belt in 1/4″ increments. This ensures that you can have the most comfortable fit possible, especially on the course, rather than having to fit to the sizes of the holes in a traditional belt. The best part? It’s easy to quickly loosen it up a bit after a few beers and wings at the 19th hole.
Performance & Durability
In terms of the durability of a Nexbelt, I’ve had one for a few years, and the leather looks as good as new. I’ve even had to resize the belt a few times by cutting a few inches off of the strap (not a big deal), and still, the thing looks brand new. The leather is really high quality, as is the stitching. While they are a little pricey, you definitely get what you pay for – a top-notch belt. (Pun very much intended.)
In terms of “performance” for a belt, the Nexbelt does exactly what it should – hold up your pants. The ratchet-click fitting allows you to easily push the buckle along the belt to the perfect size. Quick and easy. To release the belt, there’s a simple little switch you push, and pull the buckle off of the strap. I had zero issues with the buckle staying in place, and not once has it moved “notches” while wearing it during a round. It functions exactly as advertised.
Lastly, for some buckle models, the front of the buckle flips down and away from you, revealing a hidden magnet to hold a ball marker. You may think it’s gimmicky, but I’ve come to love it. No fumbling with a marker in my pocket, on a clip, or in my hat. It’s simply right there in my belt. Don’t worry though, the buckle might be easy to flip open, but you won’t have any issues with the buckle unexpectedly flipping open and losing your marker.
Final Thoughts
Listen, I won’t deny that I’ve been a fan of Nexbelt since I first got one years ago. They make a very good product in terms of both functionality and quality. You can mix and match buckles and straps for any look or outfit, and they have a TON of options for you to choose from. While a belt might not seem like a big deal, believe me when I say that the Nexbelt is worth the few extra bucks compared to a traditional belt. You can thank me later.
