Meet Tommy O’Connell, one of the co-founders of Driving Range Heroes. Tommy originally hails from sunny Southern California, and currently resides in Chicago, Illinois. While he was introduced to golf at an early age, he really didn’t pick up golf until college while on the Men’s Water Polo team at Pepperdine University. Young Thomas rarely gets back in the pool, but he’s always on the golf course. As with all sports he plays, Tommy is a huge equipment junkie, and it’s particularly bad with golf. While he has tried to stay loyal to his current setup, he’s a tinkerer at heart (and probably always will be).
When he’s not out on the golf course on the weekends (which he rarely isn’t), Tommy can probably be found watching (and betting on) sports somewhere. His other hobbies include devouring pizza and wings, and hanging out with his dog Carl.
