BIG MAX Dominates European Market Share in 2020

Europe’s leading push cart and golf bag brand, BIG MAX, reports that it has once again dominated both golf bag and push cart market share in Europe following the publication of sales figures for the whole of 2020.

Despite multiple Covid enforced lockdowns in Europe, data collected from Golf Datatech shows that BIG MAX dominated 2021 market share in its two key categories across the DACH (German speaking) market, the traditional marker for results across continental Europe. The brand underlined its 25 year position as Europe’s #1 push cart brand with sales of its Flat Fold push carts driving an incredible market share of 42.42%, an increase from 42.1% in 2019.

In the golf bag market, a sector that BIG MAX has grown significantly in recent years based on the success of its waterproof Aqua, and water-resistant Dri Lite technologies, the brand increased its share to 32.74%, more than the next three brands combined. For both categories the brand has successfully navigated 2020 global supply issues and is delighted that it has been able to continue to grow under the extraordinary circumstances of the last 12 months.

This news comes on the back of a year that saw sales of BIG MAX push carts and golf bags explode in the U.S. market. With an unprecedented demand for push carts following Covid restrictions on cart sharing and usage, BIG MAX used its position as global leader in push cart manufacture to supply the U.S. market where many other brands were unable.
