Daphne’s Headcovers CEO, Jane Spicer Celebrates Women’s History Month as the Longest Running Female CEO in Golf

Phoenix, Arizona – Daphne’s Headcovers, the original animal headcover company, is celebrating Women’s early with the announcement that their CEO and founder, Jane Spicer, is entering her 44th year at the helm of the global company.

In the 44th year since the first headcover was sold, Daphne’s Headcovers are now available in more than 80 countries internationally. Daphne’s products are carried in the bags of hundreds of TOUR professionals, including Tiger Woods, Collin Morikawa, John Daly, Patrick Cantlay, Brittany Lincicome, Cheyenne Woods, Olympian Alena Sharp, and more.

“We never rest on success,” explained Jane Spicer, CEO of Daphne’s Headcovers. “When we find ways to improve a design, we don’t hesitate to do so.” That’s why all Daphne’s Headcovers carry the company’s exclusive lifetime warranty and satisfaction guarantee.

“Women’s month is very important to me” says Spicer. “My Mum, Daphne (and our company’s namesake) led by example as did my Grandmother, both were very strong and kind women who constantly supported me. Over the years, I have been lifted up and guided by many women in golf and I am so grateful. Now, I see the tide turning as many young women who are hoping to succeed come to me for advice and guidance. It brings me great joy to help lift up the next generation of women.”

Whether it is supporting the LPGA, Girls Golf or her board positions at the First Tee of Phoenix or Golf it Forward ( honoring the founders of the LPGA), Spicer can be found offering a helping hand and extra time to encourage females to find what brings them joy and pursue it.

“When a young woman comes to me for advice and guidance, I am so honored and I know I must (like the women before me) do all that I can to assist her in finding her voice and her way. When she succeeds, I feel her success and joy at a cellular level, there is really nothing more rewarding,” said a smiling Spicer.

“Jane Spicer is my Spirit Animal. Usually, a “spirit animal” helps guide or protect a person on a journey and possibly embodies similar characteristics – that is exactly what Jane does for me. Jane is my mentor, leader, role model, non-medically-trained-therapist, guide, and friend.

When I met Jane nine years ago, I was so impressed with the amazing business she had blossomed but I was even more impressed with her ability to make me feel empowered. To this day, Jane makes me feel like I am a priority and continues to provide engaged attention, empathetic support, and wise guidance that is critical to my personal/professional success and to the growth of the non-profit organization I manage.

One of the things that Jane has taught me – that her mom taught her – and I will carry with me forever is; “Do well while doing good.” Jane continues to enrich the world add so much good into the universe. You can see the joy, energy, and good vibes radiate from Jane whenever anyone is around her. I am so grateful that my world benefits from all the good that Jane Spicer provides. “

“Jane and I were introduced through a mutual friend in the golf business. From the moment we met she has been warm, encouraging and supportive. She has taken time out of her busy schedule to offer advice and perspective that she has gained from years of being a successful entrepreneur. Having that mentorship from a fellow female has been invaluable and inspirational.” Katy Craft Lim, founder VimHue
