RENO, NEVADA — DirectedForce Putters has changed its name to L.A.B. Golf, spelling out the company’s commitment to simplifying putting through science.
Over the last year, L.A.B Golf has accelerated its growth with new leadership that is planning long-term, strategic investment in the company. Current growth initiatives include a vast expansion of the availability of L.A.B. Golf putters across North America, as well as an innovative approach to online putter fitting.
L.A.B. Technology
L.A.B. stands for “Lie Angle Balance,” the patented technology L.A.B. Golf developed to eliminate torque from the design of a putter.
“Every golfer has had those days when their stroke feels completely off,” says L.A.B. Golf CEO Sam Hahn. “What they’re feeling is torque — the twisting of the putter head — and it’s the enemy of consistent putting.”
Unlike other putters, L.A.B. Golf’s “Zero-Torque” putters don’t require golfers to fight their putter to start putts online. Because they have Lie Angle Balance Technology, L.A.B. Golf putters keep the putter face square to the putter arc naturally. When properly fit, they give all golfers the ability to consistently repeat their stroke — especially under pressure.
“Every club in the bag has evolved significantly over the course of golf history — except the putter,” says Bill Presse, L.A.B. Golf’s Founder and SVP of R&D. “We believe that Lie Angle Balance is that revolution. Every day, we’re showing golfers that they’re better putters than they think. They just need better science on their side. And that’s what we’re committed to bringing to the golf world.”
