The Bravery is a band I ran into way back in the ole college days.  It was a Saturday morning my freshman year and this dining hall that was “the good one,” and one of the few actually open on weekends, would play music videos on the TVs and this black and white video came on of guys wearing leather jackets with British haircuts and playing black Les Paul Customs.  Now, I couldn’t hear anything, but the band looked very out of place for this era in music, especially on a college campus.  I caught the name at the end and later Googled it when I got back to my dorm room.

Turns out it was The Bravery out of New York City and the song was called An Honest Mistake.  In short, the song was awesome and was only the start to a lot of other cool melodic songs from this band that falls somewhere in between The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, New Order, Joy Division, and ’90s Brit Pop.  Thanks to my iTunes on shuffle again, I thought it was worth sharing them during a late shift in the Factory.
