Carlsbad, California. (June 13, 2023) Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the winning driver and wood shaft across multiple global tours, with four victories on the PGA Tour, PGA Tour Champions, LPGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour.
At the RBC Canadian, Fujikura once again dominated the standings as the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft during the event at Oakdale Golf & Country Club. In total, 38.5% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 35.8% using a Fujikura wood shaft and 32.0% using a Fujikura hybrid shaft.
The statistics included the winner in Toronto, Canada who used winner a Fujikura driver and wood shaft on his way to his third PGA Tour victory. The RBC Canadian Open champion used the Fujikura Atmos Blue 6-X in his driver and the Atmos Blue 7-X in his 3-wood.
On the PGA Tour Champions, it was another victory for a Fujikura driver and hybrid shaft at the American Family Insurance Championship. The eventual winner used the Motore Speeder TS 7.2-X in his driver and Motore Speeder 9.8 HB X in his hybrid.
While on the Korn Ferry Tour, Fujikura once again dominated the statistics, as the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft for the week. In total, 32.3% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 29.4% of the field using a Fujikura wood shaft along with 25.5% using a Fujikura hybrid shaft. The eventual winner of the BMW Charity Pro-Am used the VENTUS Blue 7-X in his driver on his way to victory in South Carolina.
Over on the LPGA Tour at the Shoprite Classic, it was further VENTUS domination with another driver and wood combination. The eventual winner in New Jersey used the VENTUS Blue 5-S in her driver, VENTUS Blue 6-S in her 3-wood and VENTUS Blue 6-S in her 5-wood.
