With Jason Dufner’s Titleist contract expiring at the end of 2017, it effectively made Duf an equipment “free agent”. The best part for us? He no longer has to rock the same Titleist hats that 75% of the Tour wears. Instead, Duf is free to rock whatever lid he so chooses, and boy has it been fantastic. Jason Dufner’s hat game is STRONG.
This change was first noticed early on in the season, when Dufner was spotted with a fitted camo Toronto Blue Jays New Era cap, and then a Cleveland Indians one to follow. From there, it only got better. Here’s a collection of some of the greatest hats Dufner has brought to the table so far this year.

Interestingly enough, this gives Duf the opportunity for a few weekly hat deals here and there. So far, Dufner has signed a couple of “week long” contracts with various companies to sport a hat of theirs during a tournament. He did a stint with a few FootJoy hats, as well as a week-long deal with Columbus-based MSF Real Estate Capital. Either way, we love what you’re doing, Dufner. Personally, while I have some, I don’t prefer repping a company’s logo on my hat for free advertising. I’d rather sport a DRH hat (*wink wink), a hat from my favorite teams (I get it, still advertising for them but it’s different), or hats that just look cool. Doesn’t matter to me if it’s a “golf” hat or not, and clearly it doesn’t matter to Dufner either. Keep doing your thing, Duf Daddy, I’m a big fan.
