It was another solid weekend for KBS, grabbing two wins on two different tours. First coming on the Challenge Tour at the Dimension Data Pro-Am. The winner went wire-to-wire, including an opening round of 11-under-par 61 to jumpstart his week. He finished the tournament at 25-under, winning on the 18th hole with a spectacular shot to 6-ft for an eagle sealing his win. The KBS player officially moves into the top 50 of the OWGR at number 48. He uses the KBS TOUR 125 in his irons.
The second win of the weekend came at the Genesis Invitational, held at the famous Riviera Country Club, one of the toughest tracks on the PGA Tour. This win was a special one for the KBS player, who had won the tournament in 2005, but was not considered an official win due to only being able to play 36-holes. Not this time though. Everything was clicking this week for the player, and his ball-striking performance was nothing short of impressive. Hitting 52 greens in regulation (1st in the field), he took everything he could get from the tough Riviera track. Winning at 11-under-par, the player earned his 14th PGA Tour win and moves to 7th in the OWGR. This is his second win in three months, and continues a strong stretch of golf for the Aussie. The longtime KBS player uses the KBS TOUR 130X in his irons. We congratulate both players on their big wins!
