It’s always a great week in San Diego when the PGA Tour makes its way to the West Coast for its annual tournament, the Farmers Insurance Open, held at the beautiful Torrey Pines Golf Course. After placing first and second in the tournament, KBS continues to provide winning results. The winner solidified why he is the number one player in the world after another impressive victory, marking his 10th win on the PGA Tour. He shot 21-under par, clearing the field by two shots. Since the start of the 2017-2018 season, the KBS Shafts player has had a remarkable stretch of play making 20 cuts in 21 starts, 13 Top 10’s, and adding 3 wins on top of winning the Fed-Ex Cup. This was the first win for the player in his new equipment, switching from TaylorMade to Honma after the end of last season. The runner up played some of his best golf, finding a groove with his putter that has given him struggles in past years.
