It was another successful weekend for KBS, snagging two more wins and continuing a recent hot streak for the Red Label. The first win came on the European Tour at the Hero Open, where the KBS player earned his first European Tour victory at the young age of 23. In what was a tight battle towards the end, the player never faltered, birdieing the 17th hole to go on to win the tournament by one stroke at 18-under-par. He trusted his KBS C-TAPER 130 shafts in his irons to seal the victory.
The second win of the weekend came on the Champions Tour at the Ally Challenge, where the longtime KBS player earned his first win in his first appearance on the tour. The champ played lights out in the final round, hitting 17 greens in regulation and carding a 4-under round to win the tournament by two strokes and finish at 14-under-par. He plays the KBS TOUR 110 in his irons.
KBS also had strong finishes on the PGA Tour at the Barracuda Championship, and on the LPGA Tour at the Drive On Championship – earning two solo-second place finishes. At the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, five players in the Top-12 had KBS in their bags. We congratulate the winners on their victories, and all top place finishers!
