It was a dominant weekend for KBS, as the Red Label grabbed two big wins in historic fashion. The first win on Sunday came at the AIG Women’s Open, where the champion earned her first major title and became Germany’s first female major winner ever! Coming into the tournament, the player was a complete underdog. Having no status on the LPGA Tour, caddied just weeks prior and ranked 304th in the world, she put on the performance of her life. Playing through some of the toughest conditions Royal Troon had to offer, the KBS player separated herself over the weekend and would go on to win the tournament at 7-under-par. She plays a full bag of KBS that includes the C-Taper Lite Black 105g shafts in her irons, the Hi-Rev 2.0 115g shafts in her wedges and the 85g Graphite Hybrid Prototype in her driving iron. With the win, she earns full status on the LPGA Tour for the 2021 season.
KBS’ second win on Sunday came at the Northern Trust, the first stop of the FedEx Cup playoffs. The player completely dominated the field winning by 11 strokes. Being dialed in is a complete understatement. Everything was working for the player who put on a ball striking show and putted lights out. He finished the tournament at 30-under-par, becoming only the third player ever to do so. This was his 22nd victory on the PGA Tour and regains the World No. 1 ranking, as well as the top spot in the FedEx Cup playoffs. He uses the KBS Tour 120g shafts in his TaylorMade wedges.
