Live Forever Golf Clothing
Live Forever Golf, a lifestyle-driven golf brand born from a rebellious spirit, a PGA Tour moment gone viral, and a deep love for Oasis. Yes, the very same Oasis that I am unhealthily obsessed with. (Also, yes, I am confirmed going to the Chicago reunion show in August.) Founded by PGA Tour pro Matt Every and his crew of longtime friends, Live Forever blends music, culture, and golf into a distinct identity. The brand’s name even comes from Every’s deep commitment to Oasis as tattooed on his arm, and he even named his son after Liam Gallagher. Imagine if the very author of this review did that too… Wouldn’t that be crazy? You may even recall Matt Every choosing the deep Oasis B-Side Cloudburst as his walk-up song at the 2019 Zurich Classic.
Live Forever Golf recently sent me their Sunrise Hoodie, Coast to Course Performance Pant, and Disco Grey Belt for review. Here’s how this gear stacks up on and off the course.
The Looks
Live Forever Golf’s design aesthetic is clean but bold, with subtle nods to 1980s style and musical influences throughout their collections. The Sunrise Hoodie features a breezy palette with a modern cut. It toes the line between retro cool and current streetwear, and you’d be just as comfortable wearing it around town as you would to the range. I’m typically not a big “logo belt” guy, but the Disco belt adds a nice bit of flair with the Every-club-toss logo and clean buckle design. It’s playful without being too loud.
Then there’s the Coast to Course Performance pant, which might be the sleeper hit of the bunch. With its streamlined fit and slightly tapered leg, it has a versatile wear that fits life off the course more than typical golf pants. That said, they a perfectly at home on any course as well.
Comfort Level
One of the standout qualities of the Live Forever Golf gear is how comfortable it is. The Sunrise hoodie is lightweight but cozy, perfect for those early morning tee times or brisk fall rounds. It’s even a good fit for breezy spring and summer evenings. The interior is soft against the skin, and the fit is just right. Roomy without feeling oversized.
The Coast to Course Performance pant really shines here. It moves effortlessly with your swing thanks to the stretch panels, and the fabric breathes well even when temperatures climb. Additionally, the waistband has enough give to stay comfortable through a full day on and off the course. When you the pair the Disco belt with these pants, it’s equally as comfortable. It’s structured enough to stay in place but flexible enough to move with you. No pinching or digging after wearing it all day.
On-Course Performance
I’ve found that performance for golf apparel comes down to two major factors. Being able to comfortably make all golf swings and temperature regulation. If those two go well, I’m set. When they don’t, it’s sure a nightmare out there.
Live Forever Golf’s gear holds up well in those two areas. I wore all three pieces during a full round in mixed conditions, and not once did I have to think about my clothes. The Sunrise Hoodie stayed in place during the swing, didn’t ride up, and kept me warm through early tee times without overheating later. The Coast to Course pants had no restriction in motion, plenty of pocket space, and good breathability. I was comfortable throughout my rounds and never once felt hindered by my clothes when having to make a shot.
Final Thoughts – Live Forever Golf Clothing
It’s refreshing to come across a golf apparel brand with real identity and soul. Whether it’s the shared Oasis inspiration, Matt Every’s unique personality, or just a commitment to making gear that feels and looks good, Live Forever Golf really stands out to me. The Sunrise Hoodie, Coast to Course Performance pant, and Disco belt not only deliver in style and comfort, but they genuinely perform on the course. If you’re looking for something that blends golf and off-course lifestyle in a way that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but still shows up ready to play, Live Forever Golf is worth checking out.
