Lowry Wins The Open Championship with SuperStroke Traxion

Shane Lowry trusted SuperStroke’s new Traxion Pistol GT 1.0 putter grip to dominate the field at The Open Championship, where 10 of the top-20 finishers chose SuperStroke putter grips.

“We want to congratulate Shane on his breakthrough victory,” said SuperStroke CEO Dean Dingman. “There was no question how much this major championship in his home country meant to him. We’re proud to have been a part of such an important win.”

Across the Atlantic, Jim Herman earned his second PGA Tour win with the new Traxion Pistol GT Tour putter grip at the Barbasol Championship, where four of the top-10 finishes were using SuperStroke putter grips.

Traxion Series

SuperStroke Traxion Series putter grips are created with Traxion Control, an advanced surface texture that boosts responsiveness. Its design strategically places “X-shaped treads” in “Traxion Zones” throughout the grip, amplifying feedback in the areas where the sensitive parts of a golfer’s hands contact the grip surface.

Traxion Series grips also feature SuperStroke’s new Spyne Technology, a heavily embossed ridge on the underside of the grips. Spyne Technology functions as a reminder that guides golfers to repeatable hand placement.

Traxion Series putter grips ($29.99 USD each) are available in 15 distinct models including the new Traxion CLAW 2.0, which was created specifically to accommodate the many variations of the fast-growing Claw grip.
