The Looks
Immediately out of the package the Me and My Golf True Grip glove stands out. A bright blue patch covers the index and middle knuckle, and a small triangle at the base of the thumb. Rotating over to the palm, your eyes are immediately drawn to the blue stripe across the base of your four fingers. More on their purpose later. All of the blue areas I mentioned are non slip silicon and very tacky. If you look closely as well, the inside of the thumb, pinky side of the palm, and tips of fingers all have the same tacky finish. If you’re anything like me and grew up playing baseball and football, this glove will remind you a lot of the gloves you would use at the plate or catching the pig skin.
Coming back to the top of the hand, the velcro closure features the Me and My Golf logo with the same blue branding rounding out the True Grip Glove nicely. Overall, the classic white and black build with pops of blue make the glove pleasing to the eye and a bit more exciting than your standard white glove.
Comfort & Fit
Coming in three sizes (S/M, M/L, L/XL) for both right and left handed players, there is no doubt you can find the right fit in Me and My Golf’s True Grip glove. I found this glove to fit true to size and went with the same size I normally play. Unlike the traditional cabretta leather glove, the True Grip glove should not stretch out over time. The black microfiber material across the knuckles and fingers stretches nicely and bounces back after use. It is also surprisingly thick giving you an extended lifetime. However, I found there to be the major downfall of this glove – breathability.
The True Grip glove has no perforations in the glove whatsoever, and as I mentioned, the black microfiber is quite thick. After 5+ rounds with this glove in a variety of weather conditions, this glove is hot due to its limited ventilation. Once again, reminding me of football or baseball gloves back from my high school days. Taking it on and off after every shot during a hot round was tough and found myself having to pull it on with some force. That being said, I would recommend using this glove primarily for practice or range sessions to avoid overheating and sweating.
On-Course Performance
Alright, lets talk about where the Me and My Golf True Grip glove is a huge game changer. On the range and course, this glove will help you have a consistent grip and theoretically a more consistent swing. Starting on the top of the hand, the dual knuckle indicator will ensure your glove hand has a strong grip. You should be able to see both knuckles while over the ball. If you tend to slice the ball this small change can have a drastic impact to your ball flight. Moving to the base of the thumb, see that blue triangle? According the Me and My Golf, The Arrow Tip Indicator should point at your right shoulder (for right handed players, your left shoulder for lefties) to once again encourage a strong top hand grip. The knuckle and arrow indicator is a great reminder at address of proper grip strength.
Moving to the palm, the non-slip silicone grip on the thumb will have you feeling like Spiderman with the web-like pattern. As I said prior, this glove has crazy grip and you wont have to worry about your club flying out of your hand. Lastly, at the base of the fingers you will find the Grip Alignment Stripe. Personally my favorite feature of the glove. The stripe reminds you to hold the club in you fingers rather than deep in the palm. Overall this glove encourages a strong grip and will help you naturally release the toe of the club resulting in less “off the planet” slices. While it may feel odd at first, after a range session and several rounds using the glove, you will naturally start gripping the club in the fingers and looking for the knuckle alignment.

The Me and My Golf True Grip glove features impressive grip, alignment aids, and free training videos. Not every glove on the market can say that. While this glove might not be the best for a full round, it can drastically help you practice correctly and hone your swing. Transfer the skills you learn from the range and bring them to the course. Before you know it, you’ll be able to see the alignment aids in every glove and have consistent keys to focus on in your grip.
