Nippon Shaft Wins in the Bahamas

CARLSBAD, Calif. (December 9, 2019) – Using Nippon Shaft N.S.PRO MODUSTour 120 X-flex steel shafts in his irons and wedges, the former British Open champion shot a 72-hole total of 18-under to win the Hero World Challenge on Saturday (Dec. 7) at the Albany Golf Club in Nassau, Bahamas.

The 43-year-old Swede recorded a 270 total with rounds of 69-67-68-66 and won $1 million in the annual exclusive event. His eagle 3 on the 15th hole and pars on the final three holes carried him to victory over a star-studded field.
