Starting today, June 25th your SkyTrak app is getting a facelift! While I already love my SkyTrak+ as is, the new software aims to make practice even better. In partnership with GOLFTEC, Skytrak is bringing their first-ever SkyTrak Course Play option, as well as improved Practice Range capabilities and layouts, to further improve your at-home golf experience.
For starters, the new, more modern home screen experience will provide a better look and feel to the SkyTrak App. Not necessarily a needed facelift, but it’s definitely a welcomed one. The new SkyTrak Course Play option gives users a choice of 29 different golf courses, offering a realistic, immersive golfing experience. And the library of courses is phenomenal, including the likes of Pebble Beach, Quail Hollow, and Sweetens Cove.
For practice, SkyTrak and their partners at GOLFTEC have designed 5 new driving range options for you fellow Driving Range Heroes out there! Using GOLFTEC’s 29 years of swing data, they’ve helped SkyTrak craft 5 unique ranges to enhance skill development, and make your practice experience much more engaging and enjoyable. In addition to the standard range, golfers can play a new City Range for enhanced aesthetics, a range with trouble down the right to work on left to right ball flights, trouble on the left to work a fade, “The Wall” to practice high-flighted short game shots, and the island green of “Accuracy Island”. With 6 different ranges to now choose from, you can make practice both more fun and impactful.
With these new updates, the SkyTrak membership options will evolve as well. SkyTrak Course Play will run an additional $220/year on top of the $129.95/year Essentials Package, totaling a hair under $350/year. The new Driving Range options will be included in the Essentials Package, but not in the free Basic Plan. However, compared to other options in the space, SkyTrak is still the best all-around deal in at home simulators.
