Albatross Golf Wear Review

Albatross Golf Wear

Albatross Golf Wear flew onto the scene in 2017, with the goal of bringing unique styles to the golf world that can be worn both on and off of the course.  The brand was started by two buds looking to turn a side hustle into a full-time day job.  While they may not quite be there yet (according to their site), yet do put out some quality product that you’ll want to keep an eye on.  They offer a variety of gear from your classic polos, to tees, belts, hats, and headcovers with a wide selection that is sure to have something that will catch your eye.

The Looks

One thing I immediately noticed about Albatross Golf Wear is that they have a variety of styles to fit a range of needs.  Their polos range from the basic, traditional colors for a classic look, or brighter patterned looks for something a little more edgy.

The same goes for their hat selection.  They offer a huge selection of hat styles, and offer anything from their classic logo look to a more edgy look featuring an Albatross skull and crossbones.

Albatross’s t-shirt offerings are also awesome.  They have a good handful of design selections that are pretty sweet.  Some shirts do have logos on the larger side, however, if you prefer a more subtle design, Albatross has you covered there too.  Regardless of what you’re looking for in apparel, Albatross accomplishes their goal of great gear that can look great on and off of the course.

Comfort Level and Fit

The comfort and flexibility of the Albatross Golf Wear polos are what make Albatross stand out.  The polos are constructed with a 90% polyester, 10% spandex blend, which makes them extremely “stretchy.”  To me, there’s nothing worse than a stiff golf shirt that comes untucked with every swing.  You won’t find that with Albatross.  The clothes in general are comfortable, they stretch well, and they perform how you’d expect a “performance” golf shit to perform on (or off) the course.  The t-shirts are also extremely comfortable.  They’re not just a typical run-of-the-mill cotton tee.  They’re a cotton/polyester blend that make them comfortable and flexible as well.

As with most golf apparel companies these days, Albatross Golf Wear features a more tailored fit.  Now, their stuff isn’t going to be strangling your chest or biceps, but they have a more modern cut to them.  The material is definitely on the thin side, so it’ll definitely keep you cool in warmer weather.

Comfort and function?  Count me in.

Gear and Accessories

Albatross Golf Wear also offers a handful of accessories in their store.  Their hat selection is good, offering various designs in trucker, snap-back, and flex-fit options.  The belts are also awesome.  They feature a “slide fit” so that you have a perfect fitting belt every time.  No belt holes, no hassles.

Albatross currently offers a range of headcovers.  They have two options here: a putter and a driver option.  The putter cover features a magnetic closure on the back, and will fit most traditional blades.  The driver is your typical slide on/off cover with elastic on the back.  The cover designs are cool, and are solid quality.

Final Thoughts

The golf apparel and accessories market is a hard one to break into, but I think Albatross Golf Wear is off to a great start.  They offer unique designs and color options, a variety of products, and great service.  Not much more you could ask for in any brand.  And hey, they also have some great deals going on so make sure to check out their site for more info.
