Two things are nearly impossible to get right: buying your dad a Father’s Day gift, and getting a golfer a gift they won’t hate. Luckily we have you covered in our 2018 Father’s Day Holiday Gift Guide. These are just some of our favorite things in the golf market right now.
Longball Golf Apparel
I’ve been pumping this brand for a long time, and as a dad, I’ll endorse Longball as a good Father’s Day gift. Longball has a wide range of options whether your old man has more moderate tastes or a little more flair for the dramatic. While it may sound crazy for such a strong apparel range, one of my current highlights at Longball is this belt. Longball is so much more than belts though. Their shirts, pants, and outerwear are amazing quality and have a great fit.

Golf Pride Tour Velvet Align Grips
If your dad is anything like mine, chances are he has some old crusty golf grips he should have replaced years ago but has a million excuses why he doesn’t. This makes a new set of grips a perfect gift for your old man. I’m suggesting the new Golf Pride Tour Velvet Align grip. The Tour Velvet is one of the most popular grips in the world for its comfort and great feedback in the hands. With the addition of the Align tech, Golf Pride made it easier to consistently align your hands every time you grip the club. Don’t be surprised to see these grips sneak onto a set or two around Driving Range Heroes.

Nikon Coolshot Pro Stabilized Rangefinder
Rangefinders are on the higher end of the Father’s Day gift spectrum, but a good one if you can swing it. Nikon is one of the leaders in the general “lens” or “optics” industry and their golf rangefinders follow their legacy. Their latest Coolshot rangefinder, the Pro Stabilized, provides quick and accurate distances and make sighting your target much easier due to its stabilization technology. We’ll cover the tech in detail in a later review, but for now, we endorse it as a solid Father’s Day gift.

Scott Readman Concepts Putter Covers
Scott Readman Concepts is a brand you’re going to see quite a bit of coverage for on this site in the very near future, but for now, trust us in this gift guide when we suggest them as a great gift for dad. I use these putter covers exclusively, not just because I love the people making them, but because I think they’re the best in the game. Whether it’s a custom design, some wild extravagant material, or basic options, Scott Readman Concepts will take care of it. Honestly, the only limit is your imagination. These covers are handmade in Bristol, England, and while the notice may be a bit short for Father’s Day, tell your dad the IOU will be worth it.

Tempercraft
I first came across Tempercraft bottles and tumblers on a golf trip with the previous site I wrote for. One of the guys brought a bunch for everyone and I thought it was a great gesture, but what I didn’t realize is that this man had changed my life forever. Ever since that day, I’ve sworn by Tempercraft bottles and have used them pretty much daily. The quality is amazing and there is a wide range of options at great prices. So if you want to get your dad something a little more creative, maybe you get a nice wine tumbler instead of a water bottle. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

Dormie Workshop Headcovers
Dormie Workshop is literally one of my favorite brands in all of golf. We’ll have a review coming for them in July, but in the meantime, head over to their site and take a look at all their options. These guys are great to work with and can make just about any cover you have in your imagination. If you want an even wilder trip, check out their Instagram here.
If you don’t have any custom ideas for Dad, or want to spend a little less, Dormie has excellent stock options as well. Their quality and materials are second to none, which is why you will find a full set in my bag.
SKIN Sunscreen
If you love your dad and want him to live a long and healthy life, get him some SKIN sunscreen. I’ve been using SKIN exclusively since I was first introduced to it. My skin is ultra sensitive and SKIN not only protects my skin from the sun, but isn’t a greasy oily mess and doesn’t clog pores. These are all clutch points for the avid golfer. Not only is SKIN my go-to on the course, but my entire family uses it for day-to-day activity during the outdoors season.
Uther Golf Towels and Accessories
Golf towels are a fun way to add some flair and style to a golf bag. With this in mind, look no further than Uther golf towels and accessories. When Tommy first used an Uther towel, he knew it’d be hard to use a different towel ever again. Not only are they the perfect golf towel, they also look pretty sweet too. Uther offers two different types of towels in a variety of different patterns and prints, so there’s something for everyone. They can even do custom prints!
Uther recently expanded their lineup to include some pretty sweet hats and matching gloves that’ll be great to add some “pop” to Dad’s getup on the golf course. If you want something that’s going to look good, but also have the performance to match, you can’t go wrong with anything from the folks over at Uther.

FlightScope Mevo
FlightScope has been one of the leaders in the launch monitor/radar games for quite awhile now. Unfortunately, cost is often a major barrier to entry for personal use even though modern players are becoming more dependent on shot data for their personal practice sessions. Well, FlightScope produced a great personal-use launch monitor at a reasonable price point that is easy to use and gives players accurate data. If your dad is a serious golfer, he’ll be excited about the FlightScope Mevo.
You can find the Mevo at FlightScope’s website right here. We’ll hopefully have a full review for you in the very near future.
Kentwool Socks
We don’t have a review up for these guys (yet), but Kentwool socks are one of the three life-changing products from my golf experiences that I swear by. I know getting a fresh batch of Kentwool socks would make my Father’s Day so I highly recommend them for your dads out there.
A testament to Kentwool’s brand – our blog about 175 years in business.
