It’s that time of year. Time to buy gifts for the most difficult people in your lives – the golfers. As golfers who would rather you just hang onto your hard-earned cash than buy us another glove drying device that clips onto our bag, we put this gift guide together to help give you some good ideas for the golfer in your life this holiday season.
Clothes
Golf clothes are one of the hardest to pick out due to size, personal preference, style, trends, etc. While our recommendations may not be a perfect fit, we think they’re a great head start featuring some of our favorite brands.
Muni Kids
Muni Kids is a golf lifestyle brand based out of the Pacific Northwest. The founder grew up immersed in municipal golf and was inspired to create golf streetwear based on this culture. Having lived that life myself as a kid, I find I can relate to these guys and their products are great. They are a family-ran business and put a lot of heart and soul into their products.
Longball
Longball has been on my radar for awhile now and snuck in as one of my favorite golf clothing brands in the game. They make great options for both on and off the course with a range of different styles that fit any taste. The quality in construction in materials is excellent as well.
You can read our Longball apparel review here.
Accessories
Take it from us, golfers love their accessories. That said, they’re also super picky about them. Rather than pick out some lame wire brush to put on their bag, get them something they’ll love.
Tempercraft Water Bottles
You’ve seen Tempercraft on our site before, and you’ll probably see them in just about every gift guide we publish. We’ve sworn by these bottles for years and will continue to do so. They’re great to stash in your bag, keep your beverage the appropriate temperature and are just plain cool. Even better, the prices are great. There’s a good chance I’ll be gifting a few of these this year myself.

Scott Readman Concepts Ball Markers
These are a great gift option. Scott Readman Concepts is a brand out of England that does great work around custom putters, headcovers, and assorted accessories. One of their latest products is the milled ball marker that’s 100% made in England. The quality is high, the prices are affordable, and the options are vast. Should you want to have one custom made as a sentimental gift for your golfer, just contact the SRC team and they’ll get you taken care of.

Lamkin Sonar Grips
If my dad didn’t have a son that ran a golf website, he’d never change his grips, and I know he’s not alone. Go out to the garage and check how crusty and slick your loved one’s grips are and then head over to Lamkin’s website to order a fresh set of Lamkin Sonar grips. These were some of the all-around best feeling grips we saw this year. If you don’t mind ruining the surprise, impress your golfer by recommending they replace their grips and ask them for the right specs!
Our Lamkin Sonar review can be found here.
Golf Ball Goggles
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again – Golf Ball Goggles are one of the silliest items to be featured on our site, but I love them. We all love them. People can’t point all of the fingers they want at them, but they blue lenses do make your golf ball pop in the grass and they’re just fun to wear. The price is right, and they make for a fun out-of-the-ordinary gift. Should your golfer give you the cross “lame golf gift look,” shoot them to our review and tell them we thought so too, but our minds were changed.

REKS Sunglasses
Have a golfer in your life who is always breaking their sunglasses? Look no further than REKS shades, offering quality lenses in an unbreakable frame. Bend, twist, and squish these bad boys, and their not going to break. Great for golfers who don’t take the best care of their shades.

Craftsman Golf Yardage Book/Scorecard Cover
The scorecard cover is often the accessory that the average golfer doesn’t realize they need. Craftsman Golf offers a really nice on at an affordable price that your loving golfer will find very useful out on the course. A great stocking stuffer!

AmpCaddy Bluetooth Speaker
These days, more and more people can be found listening to some tunes while on the golf course. This year we reviewed the AmpCaddy BlueTooth speaker and loved it. Great, powerful sound, and easy to mount on and golf or push cart, easy to use, and super affordable.

Uther Original Supply Towels
Every golfer needs a towel on their bag, so why not add some flair with the one of the cool designs from Uther. They have two towel types that come in designs for any golfers style. Not to mention, they’re some of the best towels in the game.

Headcovers
Goofy headcovers have always been a popular gift, but the boutique and custom headcover market has absolutely exploded over the past decade. Here are some of our favorites for great gifts.
Scott Readman Concepts Putter Covers
For Scott Readman’s second appearance on the ’18 Gift Guide, we bring you their putter covers. I’ve been using their putter covers exclusively for years now and they’re the best. Whether it’s custom designs, interesting materials, or just something that will catch your eye, Scott Readman Concepts has you covered. Head over to the site and look at the wide range of options currently available. You may be cutting it close if you want a custom design, but that’s an option as well.

Dormie Workshop Headcovers
Dormie Workshop is another brand I’ve been using for a few years now. These guys specialize in premium leather covers and have some of the most creative designs I’ve ever seen. These guys do great custom covers, but they also have original designs that are amazing. Take a look around their website or shoot them an email to find exactly what you want.

Reinland Golf Co Headcovers
Reinland Golf Co makes handmade wool headcovers and accessories out of their shop in Washington state. Their unique patterns and quality product have gained quite a reputation as one of the favorite boutique headcover companies in the market. If you’re looking for a gift to add a little style to your golfer’s bag that feels fresh and has a classic look, check out Reinland Golf Co’s headcovers.

Golf Balls
Everyone always wants to buy someone golf balls, but that’s a tough gift to get right. Here are a couple of our suggestions this season.
Srixon Q Star Tour Golf Balls
We know that golf balls are always a tough gift to purchase, since everybody has a personal preference and a certain ball that fits their game. Chances are, however, that most amateurs aren’t playing the right ball. The Srixon Q-Star offers great Tour-level performance, in a ball designed for good players with more moderate swing speeds. What does that mean? It’s a great ball for a majority of golfers out there.
Check out our review here.
Bridgestone Tour B XS Golf Balls
If your golfer is a big Tiger Woods fan, this season you can get them the same ball Tiger plays! Even better, Bridgestone is offering a version in special Tiger packaging with “Tiger” printed on the ball just like his. The Tour B XS ball is the exact same spec as Tiger uses marking the first time Tiger has ever used an “off-the-rack” ball. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds go to Tiger’s TGR Foundation.

Gear
These are more big ticket items, but some people go big and get the golfer in their life the new gear they’re looking for! Here are some of our suggestions.
BIG MAX Aqua Wave Bag
The holidays always feel like a good excuse to get rid of a gross old golf bag and replace with a cool new fresh one. This year, I’m pushing the BIG MAX Aqua Wave bag. It’s fully waterproof, is available in some unique colors, and is a flat out solid bag. Relative to its market, the price is good too. If that isn’t enough, BIG MAX is including a free umbrella with every waterproof bag purchase this Holiday season!
You can find the BIG MAX Aqua Wave review here.
Club Booster eWheels
Admittedly this gift will be on the higher end of gift prices, but it’s a great option for that golfer that likes to walk with a push cart. The Club Booster eWheels turn conventional push carts into remote controlled electric carts making for an even easier stroll. Just make sure your golfer’s current push cart is compatible. If you want to play it safe, you could always get them a new push cart as well, like this Clicgear!
