KBS WINS THE TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP
KBS Golf Shafts C-Taper continues its dominance on the PGA Tour with its second win in a row! This week’s win came at the Travelers Championship held at TPC River Highlands, a PGA Tour stop that has quickly become one of the best tournaments on the schedule. This win for the KBS player was a long awaited one. It’s been 11 years since the last win for the player who has had his fair share of ups and downs in a sport full of them. His recent play though, including his third place finish at last week’s U.S. Open suggested he was getting close to putting it all together and he certainly did this week in Connecticut. Carding a blistering 63 in the third round of the tournament catapulted him to the top of the leaderboard and gave himself a six-shot cushion heading into the final round. The player came into the tournament in good form, recording six Top-25 finishes in his last nine starts and moves to No.5 in the Top 25 Ranking.
