Last week we posted a review on Golf Pride’s new Tour Velvet ALIGN grips. You can read Jon’s review right here. If you already have a set Golf Pride ALIGN grips, but question your ability to install the grips yourselves, Golf Pride put together this handy little video with the help of Michael Breed. Along with the Golf Pride video, you can check out our post on how to do DIY your own grips from the comforts of your own home here.

How do you ensure the clubface is perpendicular to the ground? Eyeball it? No, you want to take your sad naked caveman eyeball out of the equation whenever possible (h/t Rick). Clamp a laser pointer, and place a plumb line on the dot. You can then align the bottom groove to the plumb line (leading edges are curved). You must still use your eyes, but now you’ve given them an objective reference, which is more reliable than one person’s guesstimate.
Ah, yeah, I’ve seen people do that. Good tip!
