Bill and I recently checked out The Seventy where Bill got fit into a new set of Sub 70 659 irons. During that trip we started talking to Jason Hiland about how I’ve never broken 80 and Bill’s general disbelief in how this golf milestone has eluded me up to this point. So naturally, it was agreed that I needed to get my own Sub 70 fitting and the Sub 70 team would help me finally accomplish this goal.

First, Sub 70’s PGA teaching professional, Kevin Healy, and Jason took a look at my swing and how I hit the current clubs in my bag. We looked at the data and broke down everything they saw. Next, Kevin worked with me to better understand my swing, and more importantly, my misses. Throughout the whole process, Kevin and Jason were also swapping out components to figure out what Sub 70 iron setup best fit my game.
