Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dartee Golf was born from the love for the game and ambition to create a golf brand together between two childhood friends. Their story starts from birth. James and Justin’s mothers were high school best friends and their sons would follow suit. Reconnecting after college, the pair set out to innovate in the golf space. After spending many long nights in their shared apartment, the duo created multiple golf belt prototypes that seamlessly combined utility and style. After two years and many iterations later, Dartee Golf belts were born. The Looks

It’s also lightly larger in width than the Storm Collection to accentuate the impressive pattern.
Rounding out the belt is a impressive brushed metal buckle. As soon as I removed it from the packaging, I was struck by the sheer weight of the buckle. This thing is heavy duty and feels incredibly robust. The buckle also features a super nice touch of a magnetic ball marker holder. You can use your favorite marker, or go with the provided colormatched Dartee Golf marker. Regardless of what collection you go with, you can walk confidently to the tee box knowing you look your best. No promise you will play you best, but Dartee Golf Belts can certainly help.
Comfort Level
Dartee Golf belts are impressively comfortable. Featuring a customizable fit from sizes 0-46 will provide the right fit for a wide range of people. For reference, I am a size 35 and based on recommendations I cut my belt down to a size 38. The fit was perfect and customization could not have been easier. All the belts feature embossed inch by inch measurements on the back to help you get the perfect measurement, no guessing games involved. Simply add several inches to your current waistband, cut the strap, add the buckle, and you’re good to go.
The Dartee Golf team takes customization one step further with their ratchet system that integrates seamlessly with their buckle. The hard plastic insert on the inside of the belt allows for a precise fit down to the smallest margin. Simply insert the tail end of the belt into the buckle and pull to tighten. You will hear and audible “click, click, click” as you tighten. To loosen, pull outwards on the buckle and the ratchet will disengage. Pretty simple. I did find the belt to slip a few notches after tightening too far and taking a big swing. However this happened once, and in reality helped me achieve the perfect combination of support and flexibility. The leather itself also provides a bit of flex that I am sure will be more apparent as you break it in. Not a single complaint from me in the comfort department.
On-Course Performance
James and Justin were searching for a combination of style and utility in a belt and they achieved just that. While the ratchet system is reminiscent of military and construction belts, the additional features on the Dartee Golf belt set it apart from the rest. As I mentioned before, the magnetic ball market holder means you will never be searching for marker while standing in your buddies’ lines. Or even worse, using a tee. If you’re anything like me, you’ve walked onto a tee box and reached for your back pocket and had your heart drop. Your glove fell somewhere. Somewhere between here and god knows where. Well, Dartee has you covered. All belts come with a removable Velcro glove holder to keep your glove dry and secure. Problem solved. Another great feature is the removable tee holder that seamlessly attaches to your belt. With room for 2 tees, you will never be frantically searching for one as you step up to hit a critical tee shot. Not to mention you will have one for that friend who is always asking. Win Win. These two removable accessories come in the same color as the belt and add all the utility you could ever need.
