Welp, it’s that time of year again – Father’s Day. It’s just as hard to buy gifts for that golfer dad as it is every year. Hopefully we can help you out with our 2019 Father’s Day Gift Guide.
Let’s start with some DRH staples. You’ve seen all these guys before, but we still swear by them and use them on a regular basis. If your dad doesn’t appreciate these things, send ’em our way!
Tempercraft Water Bottles
My household is still using multiple Tempercraft vessels every single day. These bottles and tumblers are great because they’re durable, keep your drink at temperature for extended periods of time, and are good for the environment. It may be a little late to get Dad a super custom order unless you can give him an IOU, but we swear by these and think they make great gifts. In fact, I’m starting to find myself giving some away at every holiday now. #urwelcome

SKIN Sunscreen
We’ve been using these guys for a few years now (pre-dating this website) and still swear by them as well. I’ve tried many different sunscreens in my life and my stupid sensitive skin does not usually react well. Said skin also likes to burn pretty easy so I needed a solution. Enter SKIN Sunscreen. Their products do an excellent job protecting your skin as well as not irritating it after wearing it on the course all day.
The new Continuous Spray “Active” sunscreen is Reef friendly, water resistant, and skin friendly. I’ll have a bottle of this in my golf bag this season.

BIG MAX Aqua UV-Umbrella
I originally got this umbrella along with a BIG MAX bag and really thought nothing of it, however, after regular use, I realized I loved this thing. It’s super sturdy and easy to use, plenty big, and great on the course. At $40, it’s a pretty good price compared to the rest of the golf umbrella game.
Buy it here.
UPDATE: BIG MAX is offering some killer last minute deals for Father’s Day gifts. Check out the details here.
SuperStroke Traxion Putter Grips
SuperStroke now offers many of their classic designs with a new material called “Traxion Control” as well as some other features to improve and enhance performance. If your dad is a longtime SuperStroke fan, check out what model and size is on his current putter and pick him up a fresh new Traxion model!
SuperStroke will be releasing a limited version of the Traxion grip in the Tour 2.0, Flatso 1.0, and Pistol GT 1.0 on June 5th (tomorrow!). SuperStroke Nation members will get first crack at super limited quantities so make sure you sign up today!
You can buy them from SuperStroke here.
Reinland Golf Co Headcovers
We’re big fans of the Reinland family here at DRH and love their headcovers just as much. If you’re into the “barrel style” headcovers that have seen a resurgence lately, Reinland Golf Co’s are our favorite in the industry. With their recent move to downtown Portland, Oregon, Reinland has been cranking out a lot of sick new designs as well as keeping the classics alive. Their quality is solid and their prices are great too so check them out.

Scott Readman Concepts Ball Markers
I like this gift from a perfect middle of the road perspective. You don’t want to get your dad another dumb golf towel or a dozen balls, but you also realize a $400 Scotty Cameron is a bit extreme for Father’s Day. The Scott Readman Concepts ball marker is perfect. You can either get one totally customized for your old man (timing may be tight, but you might have a shot) or one of the SRC originals listed on their site. It’s a unique gift that your dad will find special and be proud to use anytime he’s on the course.
You can read our review of the SRC ball markers here.
Dormie Workshop Yardage Book Cover
Dormie Workshop has blown up in the game of golf due to some of the most unique headcover designs in the game as well as a seemingly endless palette for custom options out of their shop in Nova Scotia. What people may not know is that these guys make killer accessories as well. One of those being their leather yardage book / scorecard cover. The cover pictured here is a Dormie Workshop original, but you can also order a custom cover as well.
You can order this cover here.
TRUE Linkswear Major Golf Shoes
These shoes sort of took me by surprise this season and ended up being one of my favorite pairs of shoes I own. The TRUE Linkswear Major performs great as a golf shoe and off the course as well. Just make sure you get your dad the right size – err on the side of a half size too big.

If you’re looking for an alternative model, you can buy a limited edition pair of their TRUE Knits (review coming soon!) with proceeds going to the National MS Society. Learn more about this great cause here.
Tour Edge Exotics CBX 119 Hybrid
Normally I don’t recommend buying someone a golf club as a gift unless you know it’s one they specifically want. In this case, I have no problems telling you to just do it. It’s a little on the pricey side for a Father’s Day gift (no, Dad, I’m not giving you a golf for Father’s Day) but if you want to go down that road, see if your dad plays a hybrid and ask him if he’s a decent player that hits it well. If he says, “yes” then just buy him one of these in the same loft and flex as the one in his bag. Again, if he doesn’t like it, any one of us will take it. Our own Jon Heise has even been quoted on this very website as calling this “the greatest golf club ever made.”
