If you didn’t know, the Ryder Cup is coming up this weekend where Team USA will take on Team Europe in good ole Wisconsin. (Specifically at Whistling Straits where I had the privilege of getting nice and beat up before, and thoroughly enjoyed it.) Well, as you might know, I’ve been going through the newly coined “Bill’s Golf Museum” (the name is always changing) and finding some treasures to giveaway to our followers. So with arguably the most exciting week of golf that only comes every two years, I thought we’d run a small Ryder Cup contest and give some gear away from the archives.
When the Ryder Cup first started, it was the US playing against Great Britain & Ireland only. It wasn’t until much later where the GB & I side expanded to include the rest of Europe and legendary players such as Seve, Jose Maria, Sergio, and Jon Rahm would eventually join the fun.
Ok, this is a stretch, but in the spirit of the original US v GB & I arrangement, I found two items to give away. The first is a Radius putter. Radius is a company out of the UK and I’ve had this putter in my basement for quite a few years now. It’s really nice, well made, and will be the “GB & I” representative of our Ryder Cup contest.
