TRL: Regrip Your Golf Clubs

It’s Time to Regrip Your Golf Clubs!

Golf season will be upon us before you know it, which means it’s time to regrip your golf clubs! Bill and Kris are in the freezing cold garage showing how each of them replace grips as well as some tips and tricks along they’ve picked up along the way!

Everyone has their own tricks so feel free to let us know some of them in the comments.

Shout out to Golf Pride for sending over some fresh grips for the season

  1. Great video. I have a similar gripping station and use Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grip. Living in Southern AZ and with the number of rounds I’m able to play, I regrip 3 times a year. I use the 360s because of the feel and there really isn’t any special alignment – just get them straight I use the hook blade for removal, then a heat gun to get the glue loose and then peel off the old tape (2 wraps of build up plus the double sided tape). After gripping (lots of solvent) tap/bang with the grip to the floor and then I let them sit with the grip up for at least a couple hours. I buy my solvent and tape from GolfWorks.
