After a competitive final round KBS found itself in the bag of 3 of the Top 5 finishers at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Each player came into Sunday with a chance at the victory. They would have to play aggressive to overtake tough competition which included the current World #1 and multiple time Major Championship winners.
Thursday, the 3 players opened up their campaigns with 2 scores of 65 and a 66. The next round proved to be tougher for the field and the 3 KBS players shot scores of 68, 69, and 70. Saturday, the Irish KBS player shot an impressive 65 to give himself a spot in the final pairing with his fellow countryman. The other 2 KBS golfers shot 68 and 69 to only remain a few strokes off the lead. It was truly anyone’s game going into Sunday.
The final round of Sunday would prove to be the ultimate test for the 3 KBS players. They would have to lights out in order to climb the leaderboard and overtake the top spot. They all played a steady front nine but would need to drop some strokes to catch the leader. Although they played well on the back nine it would not be enough.
Even though the 3 KBS players would have to settle for Top 5 finishes, it’s a great start to a long 2025 season ahead. The AT&T Pro-Am always brings the best golfers to the event, so any finish towards the top of the leaderboard is impressive. A huge congratulations go out to the 3 players in the top 5 and all the rest of the players in the field at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
