KBS Wins 2024 Augusta National Women’s Amateur!

The Red Label found itself in the winner’s circle after a legendary final round! The Winner had KBS Tour shafts in her irons. The young golfer from England opened up her campaign on Wednesday with a solid score of 68 and followed with a round 71. The final round on Saturday would prove to be the ultimate test for the KBS player. She had a 2-stroke lead going into the final round, but knew that she was going to have to play lights out to take the victory. She played well on the front nine, but was quickly overtaken by her opponents. It wasn’t until the back half of the last nine that she pulled the rabbit out of the hat. On 14 she had an amazing par save, which gave her the confidence to go and bridie hole 15. With momentum on her side, she made 2 clutch birdies on holes 17 and 18 to claim the victory by 1-stroke. The 20-year-old would become the first European winner of this prestigious event. She said, “It’s just an amazing opportunity. Just an awesome experience. I was excited to play today. I said that to everybody I talked to. I was just excited to get out and play.
